Two rival gangs ( or sometimes I think of them as competing mercenary groups ) battle it out. Violent anthropomorphized lady soldiers brandishing axes, swords, various firearms, and other deadly weapons... Rendered in a simple, colorful manner. And juxtaposed with big, childlike alphabet-block letters.
The girls in blue belong to The Danger Club, and in pink The Boom Group.
